Assumption of risk

Not medical or safety advice. Plans, paces, fueling, turnaround times, tide or current estimates, and trip estimates are general calculations from the information you enter, and they may be wrong. Exercise, endurance events, hiking, cycling, paddling, and time outdoors carry a risk of serious injury or death. Consult a physician before beginning a training program, especially if you are pregnant, injured, or have a health condition. Check official weather, trail, park, tide, and water conditions, carry the safety gear the trip requires, and turn back when conditions require it. You participate at your own risk. Fueling suggestions are not nutritional advice for allergies or medical conditions.
